PMPA students will all do their very best to entertain you and they hope you enjoy every moment of their 2017 End of Year Concert at the Glasshouse.

On Sale, Tuesday 1 November, 2017.

Port Macquarie Performing Arts (PMPA) is proud to offer their students three performances each year at the Glasshouse. The final for 2017 is the End of Year Concert on 26 November, 2pm. The concert will be a three-act show.

The PMPA students have worked incredibly hard over the past two terms in classes and look forward to performing on stage and working with their dance team.

A big part of dance training at Port Macquarie Performing Arts is learning through performance. Although performance opportunities can help prepare some students for a possible career in dance, they also contribute to all students’ success in non-dance activities. The performing experience helps build students’ self-esteem and can have lasting effects such as confidence resulting in better in-school presentations, improved social skills, and strong interview skills for future university or job opportunities.

It is very important for the self-esteem of PMPA students to have the chance to show their parents/carers and friends what they have been working towards throughout the year. The process of rehearsal, costume, production and show is a measure of dancers’ patience, discipline, hard work but most of all joy when they finally get to dance and perform for an audience.

PMPA students will all do their very best to entertain you and hope you enjoy every moment of their 2017 End of Year Concert. PMPA thank parents/carers and friends for their continued support of PMPA dancers and the studio.

Specific drop off and pick up times for junior students according to their class and routine are outlined in the PMPA Showcase handbook, read it here.
