The following questions and answers are designed to assist you, following the rescheduling of the Glasshouse Opening.
Q1. What happens to shows advertised for the 2008 Spring Season?A. Oz Opera’s production of Madame Butterfly and the popular Menopause the Musical will be staged at Panthers Port Macquarie.
Madame Butterfly will be presented on Tuesday 16 September and Wednesday 17 September 2008 at 8 pm, as planned. There has been a date change with Menopause the Musical and this will now be staged on Friday 28 November at 8 pm and Saturday 29 November at 2 pm and 8 pm. Regrettably, due to staging and technical requirements and other touring commitments, three shows are now unable to be presented – Codgers, Wharf Review and Bombshells.
Q2. I have bought a subscription to the On Tour or Morning Music shows, what happens now?
A. There are four options available for your consideration - please download the attached booking form.
Please note: if you are a Premium seat holder, the front central rows of Port Macquarie Panthers auditorium have been reserved for Premium seating.
1. If you have tickets to Madame Butterfly and/or Menopause the Musical as part of your subscription, and would like to attend these peformance(s) at Panthers Port Macquarie, retain your ticket(s) for these shows and we will reserve comparable seating in Panthers Port Macquarie auditorium. You will receive a refund or a credit for the balance of your subscription price. Please complete the booking form and return with ticket(s) to shows that are no longer valid. A credit note can be used to purchase tickets during the 2009 Season.
2. If you would like a credit for the full amount of the ticket purchase price, you need to return your tickets to the Glasshouse Box Office and a credit note will be issued to you. This credit note can then be used to purchase tickets during the 2009 Season.
3. If you purchased tickets using the deferred payment plan, you may want to attend one or both of the shows at Panthers Port Macquarie and/or cancel full or part of your subscription. Either way you need to return your tickets to the Glasshouse Box Office. If you want to cancel your full subscription, you need to return your tickets and they will be cancelled.
4. If you would like a refund for the full amount of your ticket purchase price, you need to return your tickets to the Glasshouse Box Office and all the tickets will be cancelled. The refund will be made using the same method as original payment e.g. credit card or cheque.
Q3. I have bought single tickets, what happens now?
A. There are three options available for your consideration.
1. If you have purchased a ticket to Madame Butterfly and/or Menopause the Musical and would to see the performance(s) at Panthers, please retain your ticket and a seat at the performance at Panthers will be reserved for you. Please note: if you are a Premium seat holder, the front central rows of Port Macquarie Panthers auditorium have been reserved for Premium seating.
2. If you would like a credit for the full amount of the ticket purchase price, you need to return your tickets to the Glasshouse Box Office and a credit note will be issued to you. This credit note can then be used to purchase tickets during the 2009 Season.
3. If you would like a refund for the full amount of your ticket purchase price now, you need to return your tickets to then Glasshouse Box Office and understand all the tickets will be cancelled. The refund will be made using the same method as original payment e.g. credit card or cheque.
Q4. Will I get the same seats at Panthers Port Macquarie?
A. If you are a Premium seat holder, the front central rows of Port Macquarie Panthers auditorium have been reserved for Premium seating. A Reserve seating will be allocated on the same basis as original ticketing in the Glasshouse.
Q5. I have won tickets for the 2008 Spring Season, what do I do?
A. If you have won or have complimentary tickets to the 2008 Spring Season you have the option of attending shows at an alternate venue or your tickets will be honoured for the 2009 Season. Please contact the Glasshouse Box Office on 6581 8888.
Q6. What happens if I have purchased a subscription on the deferred payment plan and want to go to a show/s at Panthers Port Macquarie?
A. The conditions for purchase have not changed from your original agreement to take-up the deferred payment plan, however, you will only have your credit card debited one week prior to the show/s you go to.
Q7. Will the Glasshouse Box Office be able to provide ticketing services for events other than those held in the Glasshouse?A. Yes, the Glasshouse Box Office can provide a ticketing service to community groups or businesses holding events at locations in the Port Macquarie-Hastings region that require tickets to be sold to the general public.
Q8. I am a hirer that has the Glasshouse venue booked in 2008?A. The Venue Operations Manager is contacting all confirmed and potential hirers to discuss alternate venues for their performances and other options. Please contact the Glasshouse on 6581 8888 if you have any queries.
Q9. When will I be able to hire the Glasshouse?A. For information regarding opportunities to hire the Glasshouse, please contact the Venue Operations Manager to discuss hiring options, costs and room availability on 6581 8888.
