Seats for all spring season “On Tour” shows at the Glasshouse are selling like hotcakes with more than 75% of available tickets already sold in just six weeks.
Glasshouse Director of Performing Arts, Robyn Birrell said, “Our community has certainly taken the Glasshouse to heart and are relishing the opportunity to see quality entertainment from all over Australia here in their home town.
“The first performance of Madam Butterfly selling out in 36 hours is a very clear indication that we have been waiting a long time for this diverse array of world class performances, Ms Birrell said.
“More than 3,800 tickets have been sold by subscription so far, with single tickets selling from just $20 dollars going on sale from 3rd March.

“Although we are still eight months away from opening night, we are very pleased with the ticket sales, they have exceeded all expectations, Ms Birrell said.
“Bookings are also strong from community groups hiring of the Glasshouse. We have choral festivals, graduation ceremonies, meetings, performances and a variety of concerts. In fact, there are only a couple of weekends still available from the time we open in September until the end of the year, Ms Birrell said.
