Creative Parents & Bubs is a relaxed and creative get together opportunity for parents with young children up to the age of 3 to enjoy a social and weekly creative experience. 

An opportunity to meet other creative parents, learn new skills in a relaxed and inclusive environment whilst your little ones create and play too.

Week 1 | 16 July: Abstract Painting
Create small abstract paintings exploring colour, shape, linework, pattern and mark-making 

Week 2 | 23 July: Geometric Painted Coasters
Create colourful coasters in a geometric style, using acrylic paint and paint markers. 

Week 3 | 30 July: Patterned & Painted Trinkets
Add colour and delicate patterns to glass or ceramic pieces.

Week 4 | 6 August: Abstract Watercolour Painting
Create an abstract watercolour painting with a focus on pattern and watercolour techniques including colour bleeds and gradients.

Week 5 | 13 August: Botanical Still Life
Using watercolour, gouache paint and drawing techniques, create a botanical still life painting on paper with a focus on colour and line.

Week 6 | 20 August: Fabric Printing
Using pre-cut stamps, create patterns using block-printing techniques on a blank tea towel or on lengths of calico fabric that can be used for fabric wrapping. 

Week 7 | 27 August: Painted Florals
Create a colourful and patterned floral canvas, focusing on colour, negative space and botanical silhouettes.

Week 8 | 3 September: Painted Planter Pots
Create a colourful planter pot using acrylic paint and paint pens, perfect for brightening up some plants at home.

Week 9 | 10 September: Spring Florals/Landscape Collage Artwork
Create a colourful artwork on paper using painting, drawing and collage techniques , based on botanical or landscape subject matter.

Week 10 | 17 September: Blockprinting Greeting Cards
Using pre-cut stamps, create colourful and patterned greeting cards with blockprinting techniques.

These classes are targeted at the parent, however children will have age appropriate activities available in a relaxed environment.
