CULTURAL IMMERSION WEEKEND

Immerse yourself in Aboriginal Culture as part of Saltwater Freshwater Arts 2021, a touring exhibition showcasing Aboriginal artists and cultural practitioners from the Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti, Biripi and Worimi nations. Saturday 10 & Sunday 11 A weekend full of language, storytelling, weaving and much more.

Both workshops are free drop in sessions, so feel free to attend one or the other, if not both! Details below:

SATURDAY: YARNING WITH OUR ELDERS
10.30am - 12pm

Join Aboriginal Dunghutti and Biripi Elders in this interactive and engaging free drop in session, yarning about culture, language, community, family and past. Book online here.

SUNDAY: WEAVING IN THE GALLERY
10am - 1.30pm

Join us at this drop in free weaving experience. An interactive and collaborative drop in experience of weaving, yarning and making. Book online here
