Glasshouse Regional Gallery Presents:

Masterclass with Fiona Solley:  Garden in a Vase - A Day of Cut and Paste

Explore how nature and the man-made work together through drawing and texture making. Participants of this workshop will then interpret these into an illustration using collaging techniques.

Taking inspiration from floral forms found in our environment, in this workshop you will develop your own floral illustration. You will learn about how to make texture papers, collage techniques, using colour, texture, form and tips to creating a great design.

By the end of the day, you will have completed 1 or 2 collage illustrations.

Come and spend the day playing with colour, texture and form …. to create a unique illustration to brighten any room.

BYO lunch.  Coffee and tea will be provided

Masterclasses are aimed at providing our local community with access to professional tutoring opportunities with highly skilled artists. Facilitated by exhibiting or invited artists.
