Masterclass with Gloria Muddle: Create Your Own Unique Cloth Book
Join exhibiting artist Gloria Muddle in this one day workshop that is inspired by the exhibition Cloth, Canvas and Glass.
Explore a variety of stitching techniques, create collages and learn how to create the perfect composition by adding your own special items.
Please bring in some of your own scraps of fabrics, trinkets, beads, these could be included to create your own interesting personalised book.
Gloria’s work on display is inspired by the recent environmental events of the past two years here on the Mid North Coast: drought, fires and floods. Through the unique fibre works, Gloria has captured the colours, motifs and in some cases, visual geographical mapping.
All fabric and basic sewing materials supplied.
Masterclasses are aimed at providing our local community with access to professional tutoring opportunities with highly skilled artists. Facilitated by exhibiting or invited artists.

About the Artist:
Gloria works from her studio in Port Macquarie, has a Visual arts degree from the University of western Sydney, is a member of the Fire Artists Network, Mid north coast, and also a long-time member of the Sydney textile group. ATASDA. (Australian Textile and Surface Design Association) Her work has been published in several magazines. Australian Artists, textile Fibre Forum, and Cloth, Paper, Scissors (USA) Gloria has participated in many group exhibitions, and she has won numerous awards, for her watercolours and textile work. She is represented in private and corporate collections in Australia and overseas.
