Fun art making sessions for the school holidays!

Glasshouse Regional Gallery Presents

Sprouts Holiday Fun
with Lucy Pascale

Are you searching for a creative school holiday activity for the budding young artist in your family? Look no further!

Sprouts at Glasshouse Regional Gallery is our creative school holiday program for children aged 4-9 and their carers.

These 1 hour-long art sessions are held on Thursdays at 10am and 3pm during the school holidays and are typically inspired by exhibitions on view in the Gallery.

For the September holidays, local artist and Sprouts facilitator Lucy Pascale has created these fun activities inspired by 2020 JADA (Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award) and Mel O’Callaghan’s Centre of the Centre:

Thursday 23 September, 10am & 3pm - Create Your Own Ecosystem

Inspired by exhibiting JADA artist Debbie Hill. Create your own ecosystem using found natural materials, colour theory, drawing and collage.

Thursday 30 September, 10am & 3pm - Sea Creature Fun!

Make your own imaginary underwater sea creature inspired by the extremophiles featured in Centre of the Centre.

Parents love Sprouts! Quotes from previous attendees:

My child loves Sprouts! The activity was not as basic as some of the other Arts and Craft sessions we have attended.
We will be back! Our boys had a great time.
