Sue Bell
Lives and works in Port Macquarie
Sue Bell spent her early years practicing the craft of painting, working in the landscape and studying still life with a tutor from the Ashton’s school of painting in Sydney.
Her contemporary work began in1995 while studying with Southern Cross University in NSW. Sue’s practice includes painting, digital photography, assemblage and artist’s books, drawing inspiration from eastern cultures and their approach to art and philosophy. Sue has exhibited regionally and in Sydney and has artworks as part of Port Macquarie Hastings council collection as well as in private collections in Sydney, Melbourne, Japan, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, UK, France and USA.
Dianne Greenwood
Dianne Greenwood showed an early interest in art, painting lessons in 1961 with Desiderius Orban, shaping her future outlook and ideas on art philosophy. She reintroduced herself to art studies in 1991 completing TAFE coursed in Fine Arts & Ceramics, later Visual Arts with Southern Cross University. Becoming a member of the Mid North Coast Fibre group extended her practice through an exploration of creating artists books, small sculpture and fibre constructions. Dianne has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions and her work has is held in private collections.
Kim Greenwood
Kim Greenwood is a Port Macquarie based artist who has been painting all of her life. “It is what I do, a bit like breathing”. Kim has a Diploma of Graphic design and Digital Media/ game design. Kim explores the natural world through pattern, design, symbolism, collage, gouache and watercolour. Kim freelances as a designer and has exhibited in group exhibitions and competitions.
