Community groups may be eligible to receive 40 per cent discount on venue hire fees (Monday to Thursday hires). Please refer to our Fees & Charges documents.
The Glasshouse has been hired by many community groups since opening in 2009, including annual concerts and showcase events.
The 40 per cent discount is available to incorporated not-for-profit groups, incorporated community groups, registered charities and schools from Monday-Thursday hires.
Eligibility is limited to organisations that are:
- Based in the Port Macquarie-Hastings local government area
- Provide Proof of incorporation
- Have an ABN
- Registration documentation must be provided
In addition, not-for-profit groups and community groups must have:
- A form of organisational permanence
- Be non-government and
- Not be operating for the profit or gain of its individual members
The Glasshouse Venue Manager will have responsibility for determining the eligibility status of groups.
Community groups can apply directly to the Glasshouse as part of their venue hire process and access a straight discount on their events throughout the year on multiple occasions.
