As the summer sun sets, enjoy a refreshing summer cocktail while sitting back and enjoying a little creative fun!

Facilitated by local artisans, these fun and relaxed workshops are a great place to learn a new skill. No experience required.

FLORAL-INSPIRED CANVAS - GABRIELLA DOMIN

Friday 7 January - 5.30pm to 7.30pm

Create a colourful and patterned floral-inspired canvas, focusing on colour, negative space and botanical silhouettes.

Gabriella is a local artist, surface designer, art teacher and a lover of all things bright and colourful.

QUIRKY PATCH MAKING - ALANA CABERA

Friday 14 January - 5.30pm to 7.30pm

Learn techniques to create your own hand embroidered patches.

Alana Cabrera goes by the nickname Llama. Originally from the US, Alana has been calling Lake Cathie home for the past 3 years. She’s an embroidery artist with a passion for textiles and textures who also facilitates workshops and creates wearable pieces and wall art.

WREATH MAKING - FORAGE TO FARM MATT & CHRIS FROM THISTLE FLOWERS

Friday 21 January - 5.30pm to 7.30pm

Make a unique and long lasting decorative wreath inspired by the Thistle Flower team.

Matt & Chris from Thistle Flowers celebrate our local flower producers with a focus on sustainable practice. Unique in their arrangements, these two bring a fresh new flair and style to our local community.

BOTANICAL MONO-PRINTED JOURNAL - FIONA SOLLEY

Friday 28 January - 5.30pm to 7.30pm

Participants of this workshop will learn how to create a journal with a cover created with botanical monoprints. Using a unique paper that is also like fabric, we will print flowers, leaves and other natural forms to fashion an original and individualised design. Inside pages will be stitched together to hold your sketches, writings and whatever you wish to use your journal for.
