Glasshouse Port Macquarie presents:
Opera Australia Children's Chorus
Fifteen talented local singers, aged 9–14, have been selected to perform alongside some of Opera Australia’s finest artists in the production of Don Giovanni.
Under the expert guidance of Children’s Chorus Master Annalie McRae, the Children’s Chorus is already hard at work in rehearsals ahead of the 7.30pm performance on Friday 8 August.
As part of this exciting opportunity, the young performers will be provided with costumes and will rehearse on stage with the cast and orchestra, experiencing the magic of live theatre in a highly professional and powerful production.
Performing side by side with leading opera singers, the Children’s Chorus will gain invaluable performance experience and create unforgettable memories.
All Children’s Chorus participants will also receive a Certificate of Participation from Opera Australia.
