Manhattan Short Film Festival

Manhattan Short Film Festival is a one-of-a-kind global event, taking place in over 500 venues across six continents.

The final films represent the best short films from over 1,000 submissions from around the world, covering an extraordinary range of genres including drama, science fiction, suspense, animation and comedy.

By virtue of their selection by Manhattan Short, each short film is automatically Oscar-qualified.

A must-see film festival for anyone interested in drama, film and entertainment.

The 2025 line up has been announced:

Discover this year's top 10 short films - a mix of drama, comedy and everything in between.

There will be takes on migration, reconciliation, housing prices, parenthood and the price of silence, not to mention the trials and tribulations of growing into adulthood, especially when fantastical and dangerous griffins fly overhead and you have an OMG murderous mother. And what is it about golf anyway?

Audiences will find it more difficult than ever to vote for Best Film and Best Actor on the night; your picks will be announced at ManhattanShort.com and on our socials.
