NEW EXHIBITION: GOOD NATURED: art design architecture

The Glasshouse Regional Gallery is proud to exclusively display the Australian Design Centre’s latest exhibition, GOOD NATURED.

Good Natured: Design Art Architecture features Australian creative practitioners working to design a better future. This exhibition highlights artists, makers, designers, and communicators who are using their practice to address climate issues and create good outcomes. A key focus of this ADC On Tour exhibition is the opportunity for audiences to be active participants, inspired and engaged to be part of the solution to design a healthy, safe and beautiful environment.

Ten practitioners have been chosen from the fields: art, design and architecture, with additional practitioners and information showcased in deep ‘layers’ of material for audiences to interact with, absorb and activate. These layers will be revealed in digital materials including film and a database of creative practice (10 featured creatives x 10 further practitioners = 100 examples across art, design and architecture) showcasing the depth of creativity engaged in climate focussed practice.

The exhibition design will feature the art, design and architecture projects through display of artworks and objects, digital material and spaces for audiences to experience. Rich layers of public programming will enable contemplation of actions that people can take away and incorporate into their own lives to support and nurture the environment in creative ways.
